yes, Arceus has better stats, but Reshiram has better moves. Arceus can't use moves that are super effective against Reshiram and have them be effective without being weak to Reshiram in turn, plus, since most of Reshiram's moves are special, and Reshiram's base Special Att stat is 150 vs. Arceus's Sp. Def of 120, if Arceus gets hit even once by Reshiram's special attacks directly, and he'll be down for the count

but by that same token, in the anime, some of the in-game stats are out-of-whack in what they do.  Plus in the Anime there really is no such thing as a Critical Hit, even the Super-effective --> Not very effective stuff doesn't really apply in the same way that it does in the game and moves do different things than in the game.  look at one of Ash's more resent Gym battles against Skyla (the flying type gym leader) Skyla's Swanna used the move Aqua Ring to block Pikachu's Thunderbolt and Electro ball, when in the game, all that move actually does in the game, is to heal the user after every turn.  Dragon Rage, most of the time it is used in the Anime, has more devastating effects than in the game, where it does 40 points of damage if it hits regardless of type.  Also, if I recall, Arceus needed that ring of plaque looking things to change into the other types.  So then Reshiram would just have to knock away certain ones with Reshiram's attacks until Arceus is only left with the plaques of Dragon, Ice, Grass, Bug, Steel.  All of which are weak against Reshiram's attacks.  Also if you recall, when Arceus loses those plaques, he loses his mind, which while it increases his overall attacks, he is more vulnerable to attack because he would act without thinking making his slower on the draw if Reshiram were to use an attack that he is currently weak to, like Fusion Flare while he is Grass-type.  Dragons are very intelligent.  Legend has it that people that witnessed dragons said that they had intelligence that was just below that of a god.  So if Reshiram knocks even 1 away, Arceus would get mad, which would lower his intelligence to Reshiram's level at least making it harder for him to win.  it is an even match, but I think that Reshiram could win, since, before 6th gen, a Fire- Dragon-type had only 3 weaknesses and resisted 5 types.

We all know that Arceus can be defeated in in-game...
But in the Anime... Arceus is undefeatable...
Reshiram can't knock away a plate... because Arceus asorbed them into his being...
Also... Arceus was mad because they tried to kill him and refused to give his plates back....
Reshiram can't take them away so you argument is invalid

Also, the only reason why Arceus was able to defeat Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina was because of his ability, Omnipotent, which basically allows Arceus to nullify any attack that has a type.  Reshiram has the ability Turboblaze, which nullifies any ability that effects the damage Reshiram's attacks will deliver.  If they were to battle, Arceus would have to rely on something other that his ability to absorb all of the attacks, because Reshiram's ability would disable that ability.  Arceus would be hit by Reshiram's attacks, unlike in the movie where Palkia's, Dialga's, and Giratina's attacks were being absorbed by Arceus, causing no damage

Yea but Reshirams ability doesn't affect one's ability to switch types...
If Reshiram used Dragon Pulse, Arceus switches to his Fairy Plate it just ends up not affecting him....
Reshiram's ability only pertains to someone like Giratina....
Lets say Reshiram used Earthquake...
Unless Giratina dodged it, he'd been hit by it. It's TurboBlaze allows it to still hit Giratina because of it's ability Levitate.

well, what about Reshiram's Fire attacks like its 2 signature moves Fusion Flare and Blue Flare?  Name 1 type that is immune to Fire.  there isn't any.
No matter what Arceus did, it couldn't absorb Reshiram's Fire attacks.  It could resist it, sure, with its Fire/Water/Rock/Dragon Plates, but it couldn't nullify it.  This means that Reshiram would still be able to deal damage.
Also, Reshiram's ability does affect that ability if that ability would affect it's attack damage.  And, seeing as the type-change does, Turboblaze would make it that Arceus would have to wait until Reshiram wasn't attacking to change its type, meaning that it has to be able to predict Reshiram's next attack before making the switch and before Reshiram attacks, otherwise Reshiram's Turboblaze would stop it.  Meaning that Arceus needs to basically play a game of chance with what Reshiram is attacking with.

true, but, it can only have one in him at a time, making the rest "orbit" around him. Meaning, since he can only have one in him, Reshiram has just to figure out which ones he has inside him, and force him to switch.  Like if he has a Steel Plate inside of him, he's Steel-type, correct?  This would make him resist Reshiram's Dragon-type attacks, but weak against Reshiram's Fire attacks.  So Reshiram would use one of its signature Fire attacks like Blue Flare or Fusion Flare.  This would force Arceus to switch plates.  This would block the fire attacks, but it would expose the Steel Plate.  Reshiram would then use an really fast attack, like Psychic (yes, Reshiram can learn that) and basically remove that plate from battle.  Arceus would probably then switch to something like the Rock or Ground Plate to try to get the advantage.  Reshiram would then just keep attacking with Dragon-type attacks, since the only type that resisted Dragon-type before Gen VI was Steel-type.

I will keep fighting for Reshiram because it is my favorite Pokemon of all time.

Even if Reshiram had a trainer, Arceus is pretty much the strongest pokemon in existence currently, his chance of winning is really low. However, seeing as Black/White Kyurem because he has really high Atk/Sp. Atk stats, he might be able to rival Arceus.

What if, since Black/White Kyurem is so powerful
Arceus tried to destroy the original dragon (or seal it) because it was so powerful
BUT since it was so powerful, it just split?

Reshiram and Zekrom were one entity before, but split apart, could be all 3 were one entity a long time ago as well.
