Description
This is the 2nd page of interactions between magical elements, following the first page which consisted of the first lineup of elements. This page is different as the elements in the 2nd Table of Magical Elements are more rarely used than the first table and are significantly more powerful. As a result, some of these interactions have new interaction differences that wouldn't be seen on the first page. These interactions include the three below.Harmful (One dark purple arrow broken into several jagged pieces.): This interaction is not an advantage than it is more so a punishment to inexperienced magic users who don't properly asses the opposing element. This interaction is a direct result of the opposing elements having conflicting forces that do not wish to interact in any way at all. An example of this is that the Ruin element is a highly destructive force that cannot be forced around or changed by the Force element. As such the Force will always shift around those of forces aligned with Ruin. If the element is forced to interact with the opposing element, then both the enemy AND the magic caster are affected as a result. Most often, the result is self harm but there are other effects depending on the element.
Pointless (One blue arrow with sharp 90 degree cut off points in the middle of the arrow.): This interaction does offer some form of an advantage against the opposing element, but the advantage itself is so miniscule that it barely makes a difference if the elements interact. For instance, the Force element attacking the Heaven element is barely any different than the Fire element attacking the Heaven element.
Astronomical (One thick, bright, melting hot blue and white arrow.): This arrow is only seen with the Void Element. If an element has this advantage against another element, then the opposing element is going to get absolutely crushed. This isn't even an advantage, it's assured dominance. If you do not take advantage of this, you are among the most saintly or fair beings on the planet. Not exaggerating.
There are also more special groups that are present in this page than the last due to how these elements interact with each other. These groups are like the Anima Septimus and the Astral Aether Convergence, having a couple of key elements that have an advantage against both each other and a separate group of elements. The new ones are listed down below.
Alignment of Reason (Order and Chaos): The two elements that divide the means of life for all living beings. They are the definitive scale of action, reason, and choices that constantly divide all who seek answers to the questions life brings them. Whether they are the ends or the means for what a being does, regardless of who they are. Not even the heavens and hell could hide from this divide.
Collective Psychological Unconscious (Dream, Nightmare, and Psychokinesis): These three elements are the psychological control elements that distort reality itself and completely emerges one's senses and mind with surreal, unreal, and bizarre illusions that distort and reshape reality to the point of near realistic distinction. One could potentially lose all sense of truth and be lost in these illusions, becoming lost to the illusions and discarding all form of truth.
Nuclear Material Circulation (Fusion and Fission): The duology of the formation and destruction of stars, which formulates more materials throughout the whole of the cosmos and more planets to be formed. With this exchange of fusion energy, the star is at the complete control of these to forces of the circulation.
Cycle of Life, Creation, and Existence (Aether, Astral, and Nether): The cycle in which all of creation and everything that exists follows throughout all of time. Their existence is created, their existence is preserved, and their existence is destroyed to make way for the process to start anew. Aether formulates the existence and creates the life that stimulates all of creation. Astral preserves the life for a limited amount of time, expanding creation and the potential of all life as time continues. As the trail of Astral fades, Nether destroys all of creation which has worn out of the ethereal energy of life and the remnants of the energy said existence has left behind makes way for the Aether to create newer and more potential energy. For those who know the Hindu gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, this process may be familiar to them.
There maybe some interactions that confuse others so I will go more in depth here.
The Null/Support element has no advantage against any element due to the entire element being based on supporting magic that includes buffs, debuffs, status ailments, etc.
The green and blue spiral represents the Astral Aether Convergence as a whole. If the element has an advantage against it, that means it has an advantage against the whole Convergence including the key components. For example, the Dimension Element has an advantage against the Anima Septimus, Light, Darkness, Toxic, Heaven, Hell, Psychokinesis, Dream, Nightmare, Dark Matter, Astral, and Aether elements. The only exception to this rule is the Cycle of Life, Creation, and Existence where Astral and Aether are excluded because they are key components in the Cycle.
The red, green, and blue spiral represents the cycle as a whole. This means that the Void Element is effective against all elements in both the Astral Aether Convergence and the Cycle of Life, Creation, and Existence. If you need a refresher on the specific interactions in the Convergence, refer to the 1st page.
Yes, the Void Element has an astronomical advantage against every element except the Almighty Element.
To be more precise about what the Force Element has an advantage against, here is a rundown. The Force has;
a colossal advantage against the Anima Septimus, Solar, Lunar, Mechanical, Crystal, and Cosmic Elements
a natural advantage against the Gravity, Sound, Air, Fission, Wind, and Healing Elements
a pointless advantage against the Astral, Aether, Nether, Light, Darkness, Heaven, and Hell Elements
a harmful advantage against the Ruin Element
I am aware that the Anima Septimus as a whole has a ton of elements that have an advantage against the seven elements, but that is only because those seven elements are the most common elements known throughout all studies of magic.
If there are any other elements you would want to see on a page 3, let me know and I can make it happen. This won't be a conclusive study on all of the magic elements in media if everything isn't shown.
