Description A common/basic polypod, one of the other phyla on Endos. The polypods are characterized by their many legs (eight to be exact), as well as their passive reparation, which contrasts with the stithopods' active respiration. the polypods are split into three main classes, with those being the testapods (shell foot), which are characterized by their shell, the sarcoformes (flesh-forms), which are characterized by the lack of a shell, often being smaller in size and mass than their shelled counterparts, and the osteopods (bone foot), who are characterized by an internal skeleton and active respration. The small and tiny polypods are super prolific, though the osteopods have been dwindled to only one extant species, with this extant species being the only survivor of a class of large polypods that were largely wiped out, allowing the stithopods to diversify.

This polypod here is a testapod, and feeds on tree bark, acting as a decomposer. This one is around the size of a thumb.
