Amazingly beautiful!! I love it!
If you don't mind me asking, why type of lens did you use? I have a macro lens, and it comes no where near this depth of field. Also, how long as your exposure?

As I have said on others posts, I cannot comment on the technical side of photography because I know nothing of it. But I like what speaks to me and this in particular shouts rather loudly.

Do we really need a tele macro lens to take a photo like this?
Is it possible with 50 mm lens??

If you have a high resolution and crop to square you could manage this with a 50mm if you get as close as the lens can get.

This is such a beautiful photo, it's got a sadness to it and also tells a little story... The reflection looks like prison bars, as if the person behind these eyes longs to be free...
I do loVe eyes and thought provoking photos, I haven't looked at your gallery yet but plan to right after I post this. I'm a pencil artist and I'm forever looking for inspiration, I think I would like to draw a new EYE or two! Oh and I have been thinking for almost a year about buying the Canon 100mm Macro, would love to get into macro photography!
