Description Here is the full animation I'm working on now with all the camera angles and cuts right where they're supposed to be! I've done some tracking to smooth out problem areas, still plenty more to do but I'm looking for critiques now so I can know what calls out to people the most and what areas I need to really work hard on. So please, leave comments and tell me what you think. Thanks guys!

*EDIT* Changed up the cameras some based on some critiques. It's actually closer to my initial storyboard now.Β

The legs look slightly stiff when in the air, and when she bends her head back to turn, the left arm looks a little too round or noodle like. besides that, it's really fun to look at. I always feel bad for giving animations critiques because I know how much hard ass work and time it takes to make AND perfect. Goodluck to you!

Don't feel bad, I'm a person who really craves critiques on my animations so I'm up to hearing anything you've got to say ^_^ And yes, "noodle like" is a good description for her arm there xD That's actually a style I'll be going for through the whole project. It's fun to make her body bend somewhat unnaturally. When I've finished the whole thing, I may try speeding some of the spin up so maybe it won't call to much attention to itself. Or maybe it'll look like it belongs once the whole dance gets pieced together. Nevertheless that's something that will be altered in post. And I'll see what I can do about that jump. I've been feeling like it's somewhat stiff myself.

Thanks so much for your input and I'm glad you like my project ^_^

Looks neat! I don't really like the last shot, doesnt go with the flow imo. But it might be due to the cut of the gif

hmm I'm not sure what about it you don't like. Maybe you just don't like it because the jump is incomplete? Or if it's that the movement that seems off, that last scene hasn't received as much attention as the rest, so it will get better ^_^

Totally jealous right now. Β I have such a hard time with 3D animation. Β Wonderful job!

i think you can do with out the cam switch at the twirl it is so short it isnt worth it really and makes it feel shoe horned in. maybe raise the camera and tilt it down so it still has that upward angle if you really want it.
but thats just my opinion

One of my friends just said the camera cuts were hard to follow. He didn't elaborate but I think that's why. What I may do is get rid of the full body cut leading into the spin and just lengthen the zoomed in one so it starts earlier. That might make the cinematography flow a bit better. Thanks for you're input!
