Description
FINALLY GUYS! Here's a more proper and understable tutorial about how I make my blend images. I tried to explain myself as much as possible, and tried to be as clear as I could. Drop me notes if you ever have any questions regarding the tools and effects I use, styles, images, anything that comes to your mind!I want to thank to you all for supporting me with this. I've got a few compliments on my blends and I could enjoy seeing people applying this tutorial to get better at making blends. I love you guys for trying to follow this guide. I can't wait to see what you all can come up with.
On the other hand, I'll keep streaming if anyone wants to see a livestream about how I make my graphics. Feel free to send me a note when you're up and have time for it; I would be more then happy to do it. (: I don't know if I should keep making tutorials but this is the VERY first one I have ever made before. ENJOY IT!

I don't find myself using any other program to be honest. Although I'm still digging the idea of learning photoshop some day.

I think when you learn Photoshop you'll find yourself phasing out the use of PSP7. Buuuut that being said even yesterday I was thinking the right tool for the job for this project I'm doing would have been PSP7!! It is a great piece of software.

I know all the time I'd spend learning photoshop is going to be great and will pay off in the end, the thing is that I don't feel like doing it. It already took me forever to get used to psp7 and managed to practically make what someone can do with photoshop too so I feel it'd be worthless. However, I'll be using it in college next Fall so then I'll have enough motivation lol What's the project about? Do you happen to know if the newest version of PSP are like better than 7?

I've used newer versions of PSP and they have their benefits but I didn't like the style of workflow. PSP7 practically has it's own little following, it was a really great edition.
I used to feel the same way about using PSP over Photoshop but when it comes down to the crunch, if you have knowledge in Photoshop, you can create things faster and better than you can in PSP7. It's just far more advanced, and really useful for 3d integration (and some elements of rendering) as well as editing video and making fluid animations. There's no denying it's superior software, and PSP7 is basically 13 years old - still useful, still an awesome piece of software, but had it's day in terms of advances since then.
I'd say if you want a head start in college start getting familiar with Photoshop now. Adobe is the industry standard. All the other college kids will have been using it for a long time. I think you'll need it if you want to get ahead and take design seriously as a potential career choice.

I'm seriously considering it now. Thanks for letting me know, Astrea! I'll see if I can spend at least a short while practicing with photoshop until I get the hang of the basic tools (: However, I doubt I could eve get rid of PSP at some point haha.

You totally should try Photoshop. ANY version would be great. My program is TOO old to even try using it so if you're thinking of upgrading, then I'd suggest you to go for any photoshop version (:

Oh well haha it's better than downloading from internet, isn't it? Maybe you can get it borrowed from her and even pay her 10 bucks a month or something reasonable? xD
