I was living and working in the Seychelles for over a year and I couldn't go past some of the beautiful landscapes there. Some of the most unspoilt beaches I have ever seen. I just wish I had taken this picture with a higher pixel camera (but it was a couple of years ago and 3.2 was the highest at the time) 2004.

The ONLY thing that bothers me here is that the rock i a but cropped at the top. But in overall this is just a great photo.

Thank you! This is one of my earlier attempts at landscape photography and I continue to learn on a daily basis. I am glad you liked it and I will keep in mind (if I ever get back there) to frame it a little better next time around

Looks interesting. It has a certain neat fake look. Like prop-rocks, because they are so smooth. Very cool colors, especially in the water. I'd really like to see a larger version though, as this gives nowhere near the depth that was originally captured.

I like the atmosphere of this piece and how the colours complement each other to influence that further, if that makes sense...

For me, it's almost as if you've painted this in watercolour. It feels that way when you look at the rocks and all. o.O

The composition is quite cool...Part of me wishes that it was wider, especially with the left side. I feel that it would have been greater if we could have seen more of the landscape behind.

It's a good shot, anyway. I like the lighting and how it's bright, but not harsh.

It feels as if the whole frame is filled up so it's quite complete in that sense...

Great stuff.

Thank you! I hope, one day, to go back there and take more photos - especially now that I have a little more knowledge and better equipment! I think that a wider field of view would definitely add to the whole picture and I will have to keep the lighting in mind as the white sand is prone to burnout the shot. thanks for the feedback - it's always good to get another persons point of view as I can be a little harsh on myself

It always helps to have a bit more knowledge and better equipment, I think. You see things with new eyes, almost.

Always a pleasure.

Well now this sure is interesting to look at. Those rocks are very smooth and so precariously stacked. I'd be afraid to walk too close to that. xD Despite how small it is, it's still a very clear shot, and I really love the colors. <3 That blue is so tantalizing.

The Seychelles has such stunning scenery! I was there for 2 years and the beauty never failed to amaze me! These rocks are all around the islands of the Seychelles as they are granite islands, not sand islands like the Maldives [although there is a lot of sand!]
Glad you like the shot. I had to keep it small as it is an old photo when 3.2 megapixels was the largest digital camera you could get! But it brings back good memories and I felt I should share it

Beautiful shot, it's a pitty that it is at very small resolution.

I know! - I kick myself that I didn't have my proper camera with me at the time!

Anyway it's a great shot. The important thing is "the eye" not the resolution )
