The scene is so picturesque and idyllic! I think it's pretty evident that it's so ... It's hard to describe in words because it's such a lovely landscape.
I like how tranquil it feels, mostly from all the trees and nature. The variety of colours portrays the season of Autumn to great effect. Or rather, I can't help thinking of Autumn when I look at this, regardless of the title.
You could crop the left side a bit... I feel as if there are some things sticking out, but I guess you could clone them out?
Other than that, I think it's great. There's a good amount of contrast and saturation. The people contribute to the scene and makes it so that we can relate to it more.
Trust this to be in New Zealand. It has all the best landscapes.
