I know you've been there. I know you liked it. I know you never got out,and never did anything at all to get out or try to think about the damage it causes. I think the concept is pretty clear.And because I know most of you just DON'T care enough to stand against it,or don't have the guts to do so,or you simply enjoy it too much,may please everyone who feels indifferent to the problem,say it here,now,loudly and proudly: "I don't care what society is turning me and all of us into!I don't care what society makes me believe! I don't care!"

Well I think people don't mind and don't care as long as they feel like it all keeps going in a direction that fits them. I never really cared about the world outside my own little bubble, until I realized how hard it was to actually go your own way, once you try, in this world.
It was like.. when I was myself I was just the worst loser and freak.
When I tried to become more social, happy and outgoing I was a slut.
When I retreated from that, I was a weirdo.
Through all this I was concidered "too different".
Then when I moved away, and started my college education, I was still not "right" for them even though I was really sure I would finally fit in, due to my choice of education and class.. but once again..
When I tried to make friends in my former ways, I was too bimbo.
When I tried to be like them I was just too ordinary.
When I tried to just blend in I was no one.
I was suddenly just "too normal".
Nowadays I don't really know and don't really care how people see me, and I'm glad that in the end I finally realized fitting in isn't the most important thing.. I only wish I would've realized it earlier. But I think it's really sad how important this is to most people. =/

I agree 200 percent. I'm sick and tired of how society wants us to believe all sorts of crud that was never true. For example, there are girls who go to my school who are very pretty and slender, and they say they're fat and ugly, and to tell you the truth, it makes me feel really bad because I'm at least 3 times their size and I'm not very pretty (not that I mind it, I really am okay with the way that I look, it's just that these losers just can't seem to grasp that not being very pretty doesn't make you less valuable as a person.) And that's just one example. But at the same time, society's stupidity is quite amusing when you look at it the right way, in my opinion. I also think that this painting is awesome. I love a lot of your paintings, and I love the way you draw and paint hands. I couldn't do that if my life depended on it. I really like how they have so much detail in them.

My parents grew up in a communist country, the propaganda was everywhere all their childhood - TV, surronding, their parents spoke about how great this ideology is to their heads. Did that convince them? NO
People might be silly but who has some brain in a head won't admit opinions and things without thinking about it first.

Of course... I agree,once again. And just for the record - I didn't say I'm not a pessimist. I AM a pessimist,maybe the greatest one there ever was. I can tell you're not a pessimist,there's something definitely optimistic in your speech. As for me,I'm the kind of person who cries with joy and laughs with despair...

maybe there's something optimistic in my speech, but that doesn't mean I'm an optimist, I just try to offer the optimistic view when it's possible, because I know how much I need it myself sometimes. I'm definitely not an optimist, but I wouldn't say I'm a pesimist neither. I think I'm a bit anomalous realist

It's a good thing to be able to do - to be a realist and still sound optimistic. I could never be a realist, my heart would break again if I were. That means you're so very strong.
I liked the second one the most. It has a very confessional nature,it seems to me.

I don't care what society is doing to me or to the rest of humanity, I resist in small ways at times, however most of the time I find it much more amusing to sit back and watch humanity stroll along the path of self-destruction.
