"okay, now...open!"

Pyrrha's eyes fluttered open, her long eyelashes like the gossamer wings of a butterfly.

All her concerns, all her worries, the unfamiliar discomfort Dorian had suddenly begin to create...it vanished as she saw what hung about her neck. Her emerald eyes widened in awe.
"Dorian...!" she gasped as he hand came up to caress the glittering emerald in a gold setting that sat neatly in the middle of her chest, the jewel twinkling like freshly-refined Dust as her fingers caressed it.

"A beautiful necklace...for a beautiful woman." Dorian's voice whispered in her ear as the redhead felt his breath on her neck. She felt warmth flow to her cheeks as she stared, awe-struck, at the gift he'd bestowed upon her.
"oh Dorian...t-this is too much, i couldn't possibly-!"

"Please" Dorian said, his smile unwavering as they stared at their reflections, his words, his hands caressing her bare neck, the scent of his cologne sending Pyrrha's heart into nearly uncontrollable fluttering.
"This necklace belonged to my Mother." He whispered directly into her ear as she felt his fingers-so long, so deceptively delicate, like those of a watchmaker-begin to gently massage her neck and collarbones
"She believed in beauty above all else, even as a Huntress..."
Pyrrha felt herself nodding, her blush deepening as his fingers worked her tension away...she couldn't help but let a whisper-quiet moan escape her lips as she felt her eyes start to drift closed, mouthing along the mantra they'd both memorized by heart over their years together....her thoughts of Professor Ozpin's offer, of Beacon, of escape, of the possible future she could make for herself, faded under his touch as her lips moved in tune with his words.

"As Hunters, our lives are destined to be short and fast. Is it not better, then, to be beautiful, to revel in that beauty, and make the most of it in the time we have before destiny consumes us?"
