If Violette family took up the mantle that the Schnee's used to wield in the Dust industry, did they inherit their... twisted employing ethics?

Oh goodness no. They use machinery for much of the work. And the sheer number of faunus around would make such policies difficult to implement.

Oh thank goodness for that being the case.
Though it makes me wonder if circumstances for faunas would
have been better if their slavery of them was abolished later,
when technology could do what they could

to be honest, i can't imagine losing work of any kind would do them any favors: Menagerie is clearly overpopulated, and with the discrimination they face, finding work (and by extension food) would be difficult.

Well Menagerie is basically stating that Vale may have hated slavery,
but they where uncomfortable with the idea of living alongside faunus
as equals.
So if say the Great War went the other way Slavery would have lasted
longer, but the Faunus wouldn't have been expelled in droves and the
humans of the kingdoms would have grown more comfortable with the
idea of easing the institution out of use.

Not to mention that based on info from the Vacuo episode of WoR, the Faunus and humans of Vacuo don't share the same racial tensions as they do in the other Kingdoms. Due to the unspoken "If you can survive here, you are welcome here" rule its citizens live by. So I'm gonna guess that the leaders of Violette Dust would lack the personality traits to be okay in subjugating their Faunus employees like the Schnee Dust Company did back when Jacques was in charge of that company.

No...no, she didn't. Instead, she estranged JJ even further, caused a massive emotional scene between JJ and their parents, and did I mention inadvertently caused the destruction of Beacon Academy? And at the end, JJ escaped back to Atlas.

Neat. Also I posted my pitch for the character of JJ's cousin. Probably should have mentioned this as well, but the character is sort of meant to become a martyr for the Sweeney and another reason for JJ to question his place in the New Path. You can find it in the comment section for the Pathfinder picture.
Also, what are your plans for Whitley Schnee? Does he join Salem or does he become a supporter of the Sweeney(albeit for less than altruistic reasons, he does seem like the type to fund a rebel group if it meant turning a profit.)

I will respond properly to the bio itself ( and you've actually given me an idea...)
And I like it a lot!
As for Whitley, he's....up in the air right now. I'm not sure if he's even going to stay alive that long. He might be with Jacques when Adam dices him up. Or he might do a heel-face and join the NP. I'm not sure yet.

Maybe he could end up starting his own Company in Mistral, manufacturing and selling Vehicles, heavy machinery, aircraft and weapons for the Kingdom of Mistral. Though he's far more benevolent employer than his father (seeing your old man get chopped to pieces right before his eyes really makes you rethink your life choices)

All these Organizations and groups are cool but what group is Ruby in and what been happening to her?

Ruby is a huntress. She's out doing....huntressy, things.
Or to be more precise, she's tracking Summer's traces and is basically doing what Qrow did/does: helping the Maiden Illuminati and squaring off against Salem.

Now that really did answer my questions on why she has no kids and not around a lot in your stories or pics.

Well, she's got no significant other, for one: she serves as the "cookie making super-aunt" that only comes around every so often. She's partial to Altan and Zanna of course ( they're family) but she loves all the kids, and is close to each of them.
She and Pyrrha have an almost Sister-level friendship ( partly due to Ruby, ya know, saving her life) and all four of the RWBY girls as well as Nora are official members of the Nikos Clan by decree of Kokkino. Jaune made Ren an official "Bond Brother" of the Arc family ( someone who stood beside an Arc in battle) so he wouldn't be left out.
Ruby, along with Nora, Ren and Scarlet from team SSSN and Yatsuhasi from team CFVY are active Field Hunters: like Qrow, they work directly for the heads of the academies, protecting the Maidens and fighting Salem's followers.
If only they could find them...

I have a sneaking suspicion that you're planning for the Arc and Nikos family's to merge up sometime in the future.
I'm also not to happy about Vacuo becoming a proper kingdom but that's more of a personal preference thing. I have a soft spot for places like Vacuo; completely overrun with crime and on the border of anarchy yet somehow staying united, I don't know why but I love those types of fictional societies.

Book Ten of the series wraps up the Divide quite nicely, i feel. how? ah, spoilers.
Indeed: the thing is the bulk of that society was wiped out in the Vacuo Massacre. the Remnants more or less demanded some stronger authority be put in place that could actually defend them.

I'm not opposing the idea, simply stating my sadness at watching one of my favorite tropes vanish.
