Description the Passenger Engines that are now the standards of Norman rail.

the Billinton E2 tank engine, formerly of the LB&SC, serves as shunter and light duty engine on Branch lines.

the Ivatt C1 Atlantic is used primarily for short, fast express trains, usually between London and the Port cities.

the Fowler-designed "Patriot" hauls mid range Passenger trains, and commuter services.

and, finally, the Proud Gresley A1/A3 is used for long-range Express trains, London-Scotland, and serves this role well.

the Proud Engines of Norman Rail!

So is Norman Railways kind of an alternate version of a nationalized British system? I'm curious as to how this company fits into the story of the Spartan Railways.

REAL nice illustrations!

Well, As there's no "Britain" in this scenario, i guess you could say that, yes. these are simply the counterparts for the SFR, As Normania is our enemy.

Very nice representations of several classic classes!

It's also an intereting what-if in terms of the UK having a centralised design system pre-1948, as almost happened!

Would the greats of all firms have come up with something like this standardised use system? Who knows!

The only suggestion might be the addition of something like a Fowler 4P Tank Engine or a Southern "H" for suburban work
