Description

Made for the Summer Contest

Surf board can be found here, courtesy BubbleCloud

The island is available at Daz, and is a wonderful scene for foregrounds and backgrounds.

And finally, I made the waves in Blender, Sam's Swimsuit in Marvelous Designer, and I acquired some 3D Divas logos from the page for the texturing of the girls' swimwear...  (Hope the 3D Divas admins don't mind )

Enjoy!

Oh very nice, I'm sure they discuss about clothes and shoes

Feel free to use the logo, I love seeing it everywhere
I can even make a whole texture for your swimsuit if you send me the UV map.

I din't know you 're modelling too.

Honestly, I’ve been dabbling in modelling since my early days in 3D (circa 2008), but have really gotten serious about it over the last year or two. I picked up Marvelous Designer and Substance Painter to aide me in my quest. If you’re making clothing and textures, I highly recommend both! Definitely money well spent!

I'm something like that myself, too.
I'm in the 3d world for about 8 years, but I got serious about it this last year
because I got a new laptop, more powerful than my old one and can do more things with it.
I'm a Blender user, I'm still learning about it and I don't want to jump to another program,
I have used to it.
Blender can do almost everything and since I need it only for the modeling part (not rigging and rendering etc),
I'll continue with it.
I have started my first complex cloth now, in an effort to learn and get improve in the modeling part.
I'm still learning Blender's secrets (I was using an older version till one week ago) and I'm very enthusiastic
about the whole project
Thank you for your advice

I bought Carrara for modeling forever ago, and it’s starting to show its age. But I’ve been working with it since I started, so I know 90% of its capabilities. I tried Blender for modeling, but it never seemed to make much sense to me. Now I use it whenever I need a physics sim like breaking glass or water. Nothing else I have comes close to Blender’s simulation power and accuracy!

I can’t wait to see your cloth! I, too, am starting on a really complex one I hope to submit to Daz. It’s going to be loosely based on a comic book heroine!

This would be so much better with some "wet hair" figures, but it's a cute image and the overall layout is good.

I agree.  Some shine/wet maps on their skin as well, but alas, I do not have the ability to turn the hair models I have for the girls into "wet" versions, and real life responsibilities kept getting in my way...  (That and the render times on this were BRUTAL )
