Hi!
Yeah I have thought about it....I tried doing a timelapse thing one time but the camera shut off about 15 minutes in and I didnt discover it until around 3hrs later.......maybe Ill give it another shot one day.....be warned though....i tend to sing and hum when I work and say some really strange things.....

I think some of us might be concerned if you didn't sing and hum and say weird things while you're making art.

believe it or not, most of them start out life as humble dog chews in the pet store. I just got ahold of some exotic woods and composite materials so I think I am gonna venture out of my normal comfort zone and try something new soon.

Thats great man.. Have you used one of those mini scroll saw machines ?
I had a go on my mates yesterday for the first time.. Brilliant!!!
There realy accurate like a jewelers saw but saves so much time and effort cutting the shapes. and blades!!!
Im going to buy one next week
Pretty cheap aswell can get a decent one for under a hundred pounds.
I prob spend that on blades alone just for my jewelers saw ha

Yeah I have one made by Proxxon, its nice and fairly quiet....I snap blades on that thing like crazy though...half the time I just use the dremel cutting wheel...but the scroll saw is great for hard to reach curving cuts....

Do they snap a lot then? can you buy different make blades ?? or just ones for that same machine?

yeah depending on what type of blade your using....so far Ive gotten lucky once on a fairly simple pattern and snapped 3 but it just takes practice.....managed to break 6 on the dragon pattern....fortunately the blades are pretty cheap....

they are super cheap, the saw can fit anything you can slide into it, so you get alot of options, high grade blades can hit around 2 bucks a piece but the cheap coping saw type blades are around 5 cents each if you buy them in bulk on ebay.....its more of a hastle taking the saw apart to switch them when they bust......
some days when i have more patience and focus i can cut a whole design on one blade but theres days when im just tired or excited about a design....
snap snap snap!
