Heres a little reference sheet for my Dad of 9(?) children, husband to 3 sweethearts, and simped over by a good 70% of my friend groups. His- his name is Kodiak lol

I've introduced him here before but lemme pop off about him anyways

Kodiak Darkstone (Formerly named Kodiak Evergreen, he took on his wife's last name)
Age: approx. 38 as a baseline for current day, but might be 39 by now i have no idea and im not really- keeping track.
Gender and pronounce: Cisgender male, He/him but he doesnt mind being referred to by they/them. ("Its just a gender neutral pronoun, no harm in it")
Species: Werewolf/wolf but like...anime logic so- mostly humanoid with some wolf traits.
Status: RICH like stinky rich, he has 9 kids and STILL can afford; a mini bus to haul all of them around, building a big house to accommodate everyone (and i mean BIG), can afford to buy himself a separate sports car, and buy Kai's first car (and replaced it when it got totaled), and so much more- he's rich rich. But its not all his bc like...4/5 of the people in their poly relationship work, so its a joint effort. Oh- and he's also Second alhpa of his and his wife's Pack (She's 1st alpha).

Personality traits and quirks:
-He's super family oriented. He spends most of his time with his kids, and specifically looked for an at-home job with flexible hours so he could be there at any time to help his kids out with whatever.
-Flirty when he wants to be, but can get easily flustered if someone can manage to one-up his flirting.
-Overthinks a LOT especially if a lot is going on all at once. He tries to be extra vigilant but this sometimes ends up in him overthinking way too much, resulting in him- not getting anything done or missing some otherwise obvious detail.
-If Sano (@/ Paisley-chan 's oc and kodiak's husband) is bad cop with harsher punishment, and Koinu (shared oc with same friend!) is good cop with no punishments and only play, Kodi lays somewhere in between. He's gentle and soft, and disciplines through hard lecturing most of the time.
-He believes that most people can be good if they want to, and most kids don't mean to be trouble.
-Enjoys playing sports! he played a lot of them in highschool as a cover-up for his bisexuality, but actually grew to really like track and field and baseball.

Some background:
-He grew up in a catholic household, and due to the specific preaching in his church and from his parents to him and his brothers, he has some...religious baggage. He grew up suppressing his bisexuality and his FAT crush on Sano, believing it to be immoral and that it would somehow go away. This was until his Sophomore/Junior year of highschool when he just couldnt hold it back anymore and they started dating in secret. Kodi's mom eventually found out and pressured him into coming out to the rest of the family. His father did NOT react well; yelling and reaming kodi out for this, repeating everything to him that kodi had already been telling himself. Downward spiral, and a ctrl + alt + delete attempt later, Kodi's father finally started to tolerate kodi's love for sano and has been getting better about it since. Their relationship may always be strained though, as will Kodiak's relationship with religion.

-He still believes in God, and believes people should try their best to live moral lives, but because the version of Christianity he'd been taught tore him apart, he had a hard time figuring out what is and isnt true about God, and what is and isnt true about the morality of his (natural and unavoidable) love for Sano.

-all of this played into how he raised his kids to be open and understanding of everyone, and made sure they knew it was OK if they happened to ALSo be gay (and good thing for it bc all of his kids turned out queer).

Other details:

-One of his kids was adopted relatively recently (Within the last year). He used to be their babysitter, and a close family friend, but their mom passed and the kid needed somewhere to go. Without skipping a beat, kodi took them in (hi, they're my self insert actually) and has been their Dad ever since. Due to some heavy plot things, they have a branding mark on their back they desperately want to get rid of,. None of the healing salves, potions or ointments have worked, so kodi and them are getting matching tattoos to cover up the branding, and turn the nasty situation into a positive one.

-His tattoo is a pheonix bird surrounded by white dandelions. when i googled the special flower meaning for dandelions, white ones mean smth along the lines of Youth, innocence and healing, while yellow dandelions represent strength, growth, peace and good health. The matching tattoo for my self insert will have a black and grey wolf surrounded by yellow dandilions in a similar imperfect circle shape as Kodi's tattoo.

-Most of the scars on his back came from a sort of taming program he signed up for after highschool to get better control over his more wild-wolf impulses. He did this to ensure he wouldnt be so aggressive or short-tempered by the time his firstborn came around...and maybe partially for the scenery the taming camp was surrounded by.

-Other scars on his chest, face and shoulders came from fights with others for different reasons. The big one on his cheek came from Sano during a combat class match, and the claw marks on his chest might??? also be from sano.

-He has a special place to store everything his kids give him that isnt perishable.

-He will eat his kids' cooking/baking even if its really r e a l l y bad, just bc he wants to support their interests and encourage them to keep trying and improving.

-last but not least, he has NO sense of style.
