Body- Extremely defined as he sports a conditioned body, despite having super strength he isn't a bulking mass of muscle, he is about as large as a normal male athlete. He has no scars or blemishes due to his invulnerable skin; however, he does have a Marine Tattoo on his upper right arm.

Face- No scars or blemishes on his face. Sports a blonde goatee and some stubble that he just shortens. Has a pair of blue eyes and a friendly face.

Base of Operations: A Workshop under his House or at GeneTech Cooperation.

Occupation: CEO of GeneTech Cooperation. Leading geneticist in GeneTech that also does work in the fields of engineering, computer software, and genetics in the hopes to bring advancements to support and defense for the American People.

Personality: Samuel’s personality is a bit of a mixture varying if he is or is not wearing the armor. Samuel views himself at the top due to his prolonged experiences and his knowledge that he has accumulated over the span of his life. He can be extremely charming and flirtatious at times but when combat comes down he can get serious and disciplined.

Skills: Hand to Hand Combat Training, Martial Arts Training, Military Training, a well versed swordsman, and Extremely Knowledgeable in Sciences and Technology.

Powers:

Invulnerability : Due to his mutant genetic coding, Samuel was gifted with invulnerable skin that kept increasing over his life span. His skin has later been further augmented by an experiment super soldier program implemented by the Red Army during the Cold War that involved his skin being forcibly implanted with micro particles of an indestructible mineral. After this procedure his skin stands on the borderline of being completely indestructible to all forms of assault. It is unknown what its limitations are but it seems to be working for Samuel so far. It has also leaked into his cellular attributes as he has aged immensely slow. He looks to be in his late 20’s; however, he is old enough to say he saw America being born.

Super Strength: Along with invulnerable skin, Samuel’s muscular efficiency increased with his mutant genetic coding. Samuel’s limitations and the amount of weight he can or can’t press are yet to be determined; however, he does train in intensive gravity to keep his muscular endurance at a high peak. Whether or not he can meet and exceed 100 tons remains a mystery but Samuel’s strength does increase in short bursts with a massive adrenaline rush when angered or pressured.

Super Jump: His lower body received more of an improvement of strength than his upper body did, which in translation means that Samuel can now leap incredible heights and distances with his legs. Samuel never tested of how far and long his jumps can reach at their peak, but he does have augmentations in his armor that allow him to go farther and higher in his jumps as well as thrusters to reduce the chances of him creating a crater.

High Stamina: Samuel also was gifted with a light increase in his stamina; this allows Samuel to fight longer and be more rapid with his strikes in the middle of combat. This is reflective of his metabolic rate, but he hasn't run across an issue where his body has burned out of its stamina and collapsed under pressure.

Increased Intelligence: While it isn't a super power, Samuel was born with an photographic memory. This allows him to recall, recognize, and remember several pieces of information whether it is facts about a person or an area of interest. This aided Samuel greatly as he became invested into the science fields and helped him become the leading expert in genetics, genetic research, biotechnological applications, and a computer software engineer on the planet.

Technology Abilities:

Body Armor: Samuel wears a suit of armor constructed with a rare metal/mineral mixture known as Pentadidranium. It is state of the art technologies to assist Freedom Knight in field of combat. It can assess damage to the armor, deploy protection in hazardous or dangerous environments, scan foreign toxins of interest or chemicals and has various tools to do onsite research.

UI Helmet: His helmet, lined with the same metal as his body armor, is a technological feat within itself. Not only does it have a heads up display of environmental scans and information that can be brought up by his artificial intelligence “BOB”, but it amplifies sounds, smells, and feelings that can help Samuel in combat without the negative sensory shocks that are associated with it.

Nanoid: Samuel’s crowning achievement, the Nanoid mixes the elements of nanotechnology with biological engineering as it is a microscopic robotic entity that can help its user repair, determine, and assess biological issues and associate the proper care. It can also be used for researching purposes as it allows itself, with the right modification to its programming, to copy, synthesize and replicate any element it has encountered by copying its atomic structure. Samuel has utilized the Nanoid by allowing its actions to be dictated by the artificial intelligence “BOB” to assess a wide variety of commands.

BOB: The “extra hands” of the hero, BOB is a highly complex artificial intelligence that is ever adapting to the environment around it. Given a sense of humor, BOB acts and sounds like his own person but loyal to his creator Samuel. BOB has been programmed by a set of contingency plans to prevent any high leveled hacker to gain access because BOB is the chink in Freedom Knight’s invulnerable armor.

Psychics: Samuel's mind has no barriers or any protection against psychics; however, through many years of study and scholastic readings Samuel's mind is filled with complex formulas and terms that would through off many psychics. On top of his learning, even though he doesn't have one continuous method to repel psychics, he has trained to resist outside influences by a series of meditation and mastery of his own mind.

Force: While Samuel is resistant to injury through his mutation, he is still capable of being knocked off his feet and be tossed around. Many gravitational and force related projection powers have shown to have effect against him; however, normal physical means vary with the user's strength in proportion to not only Samuel’s strength but his armor’s weight.

Pathogens/Toxins: Samuel's body might be resistant to RPG's and tranquilizers but if he ingests toxins or breaths in viruses he can be sick as a normal person might. While his scientific fields allow him to recover at an excellent rate, this is only accomplished through serums and nanoids; he cannot naturally heal any faster than a normal person would.

Background:
Being born before the Revolutionary times, Samuel is the younger brother of Vince Collins. Samuel was born extremely fragile and spent most of his time indoors under the care of their mother while his father and brother worked in the fields. Samuel’s life changed dramatically when he and Vince left their home after their father went ballistic, shot their mother and tried to shoot Samuel before his brother ended the ballistic outburst. Samuel spent most of his childhood learning how to survive under the care of various Indian Tribes. Samuel learned a great deal about medicine and how to survive in difficult circumstances. After several years, he and his brother made it to the colonies as the Revolutionary War broke out. With the help of his brother, Samuel enlisted at the young age to what will be known as the United States Marine Corps.

After the Revolutionary War, his brother and him spent time working on a farm of their own; however, Samuel worked half the amount of time Vince did due to him perusing a career in education. Samuel was extremely bright for his age and became ever improving in the fields of science, history, and mathematics. Samuel’s life was spent going to school, going to war, then back to the fields in a continuous cycle until World War II came into play.

After receiving news that Vince was MIA and presumed dead, Samuel took some time to improve on the farm and try to move on from his brother’s absence. Samuel continued his school efforts and received Master’s Degrees from top Universities to become one of the brightest minds in the fields of science and technology; however, when the Cold War broke out Samuel’s life would be changed.

The Red Army had implemented spies onto United States soil to find the best and brightest minds to aid in the reactivation of an old Nazi super soldier program labeled “Hunter”. Samuel was among the minds picked and he was soon abducted and taken to the Soviet Union to work on the project. Samuel was soon discovered as having powers, and was put under the experiment himself when the Red Army deemed it was ready for live subjects. The program enhanced Samuel’s super strength and almost received an indestructible skeletal system like his brother; however, something else happened.

The difference between the two men was that Samuel had a passive invulnerability in place, and he wasn't aware of it himself. When the experiment failed numerous times to pierce his skin, the Nazis used advanced technologies to embed his epidermis in the alloy as form of fragments. This skyrocketed his invulnerability to make him near indestructible. Samuel was then worked with in attempts to try and break him into becoming Russia’s spy when they sent him back to America; however, the experiments that did to him proved to be their downfall.

Samuel broke out of his bonds and escaped the Red Army’s compound. After Samuel was liberated out of the Soviet Union and brought back to the United States by fellow Marines, Samuel came through with a breakthrough that would revolutionize biological engineering as he saw it. Spending a good portion of 7 years, Samuel developed his crowning achievement the “Nanoid”. The project itself was genius and it came with a programmed Artificial Intelligence that would integrate with it. Samuel unfortunately didn't seek any subjects for testing, so he began to experiment on himself.

The surgery itself was painful as the Nanoid was implanted into his spine after being cut upon by his brother. After Samuel was fixed up and given the opportunity to test it, the results were astonishing, resources at his thought, his armor responding to thought based movements instead of muscular movements, and his artificial intelligence could assist him without the need to turn him on or off.

Samuel began to emerge as a hero in the mid 1990’s as he assisted in many cases being called “The Knight of Tomorrow” or “Freedom Knight”. As he was starting his career as this red, white, and blue hero, he saw a problem that was erupting the streets. At every block, store, and business there was a new war being instigated towards the mutant population. For being seen as something of “abominations” and not normal, mutants whether adults or children were being beaten and often murdered without the judicial system giving them any credit.

Samuel began a 4 year campaign establishing mutant rights until the Supreme Court granted the mutant population to be given the same rights as any other minority. This campaign involved Samuel exposing his identity as the chivalrous Freedom Knight. Before beginning this campaign he began the projects of establishing GeneTech, the firm of tomorrow. First seen as a joke, it had a massive expansion as it aided to the fields of bio-medicine, genetics, genetic engineering for medical fields, and advanced robotics and artificial intelligence. GeneTech is in the fields of a national cooperation with interests to go global.

Samuel now lives today as the top mind in the fields of genetics, bio-medical engineering, artificial intelligence software, and nanite technologies. He is also still upholding his mantle as Freedom Knight to inspire freedom and equality to all.

1. Samuel has been commonly named as “America’s Son” along with his brother Vince (The Reaper). Both of these men were given those titles after it was revealed that they were as old as America was, serving in the armed forces to maintain what she stood for.
2. Samuel has been in the ringer the past 6 years in the top five rankings for “Heroic Bachelors” in several popular culture and hero magazines.
3. GeneTech has become a cooperation extending to areas in the United States and is in the process of being established in Europe.
4. Samuel has been commonly known as one of the brightest individuals in robotics, bio mechanical engineering, and genetics in this era in the science world.
5. Wears a Texas A&M class ring on his left ring finger. Being a true Aggie, he never takes it off except when he is Freedom Knight or bathing.
6. Despite being named Freedom "Knight" he doesn't carry a sword or use it very often. He only deploys the sword if he needs a weapon to combat other weapon users that aren't involved in the metahuman or mutant pool of powers.
