Oh, this looks really elegant. I love the pose and shape of the body. One can really see that it's crafted by a careful hand, ant the way it's fetlocks are flaming fits the quilin myth neatly. I love all the anatomical details - the muscles around the neck and legs, the bones and joints, the detailled head and the well-shaped ears. Great handwork.

Is this only 0.6 inches tall? That's amazing.
How did you make sure it wouldn't topple over? It's so delicate!Β

lol, no it is 6", not 0/6... that would be a miracle!
The piece was sculpted in 3D software, which helped to ensure the stability and balance in better ways that if I'd sculpted it in clay.

Oh. I'm European, so I don't really get it. I thought the quotation mark meant 0.6, like this:
6" = 0.6 inches, and 6' = 6 inches -- as in 0'6" as opposed to 6'0"? Meh.

Anyway, it's an amazing sculpture. :>

No, the quotation mark is actually just a short symbol for inches in general, just as ' is a short symbol for feet. So if you are 5ft 7 inches, you would write that as 5' 7"
This is a 6 inch sculpture.

I guess I assumed it was inches and ... something smaller than inches. O_o;
Haha, I've learned something new then.

Could a larger one be made? Maybe a 12" or 16" version? Β This is gorgeous! @_@

In theory yes, the largest it could go is 11" but that would be 1k. 9" would be 600. Both those prices are for direct 3D prints. This is a resin I cast from a single 3D print so I can sell my resins at a fraction of what the print itself cost, but obviously I cannot increase the size of the mold myself

I'm tempted to buy the 6" one, but a larger one would REALLY peak my interest. Β I looked on your etsy, the painted blue one is great too! Β I'd love to see a similar paint job as the blue one, but in white pearlescent paint. Β I'm gonna keep an eye on your shop. Β I'm sure I'll break down and buy something soon. Β everything is far too awesome to resist.

I also LOVE the faux taxidermy Unicorn you have in your shop!

Thanks for your comments!
Yeah like I said, there's no way I'll be producing the larger ones myself but I can certainly order in a large scale print, just let me know if you want anything like that in future.
