First of all, I just want to say the wonderful made this! Commission her sometime if you want cool pony art and other art. You won't be disappointed, trust me. <3

Anyway, here's a character that's going to be in a story I've been working on a long time, he's been like bothering in my dreams and I had to get him drawn out n'stuff. x3

Tsar Tempest the Stallion of storms leads a nation known as Derenssia, a country known for it's grasp on technology and ponies happen to eat meat. Kinda proud of this country I'm working on also, basically take Russia then make it vertical so that the north is snow and tundra, the middle is a desert, and the south is kind like Florida or something with forests and swamps. He resides in a city named Marescow; a red city built on the mountains with copper rooves, and soot covered palace that rests at the peak of the mountain. His job is simple, he governs the weather; from the gentlest of winds, to the fiercest hurricanes.

Tempest is an intellectual, humble, but playful stallion that's easy to talk to when it comes to official business, though he can be opinionated, ever since the events he went through he can be a bit delusional and can be very quick to anger if pushed; and yes he does have a russian accent. :3 His govern over the weather can be very stressful for him at times, a thousand years ago the stallion went mad knowing his beautiful storms can not only destroy but can kill. Refusing to accept that its just how life is, in his rage the Tsar ironically creates a huge storm that would wipe out Derenssia and if not stopped other nations that bordered the huge country. It took his dear friend Celestia (THATS RIGHT CELESTIA IS INVOLVED TOO \o/ I always imagined if there are more alicorns, they'd all like to keep in touch) to calm the Tsar down. He's been calm ever since, but its only a matter of time till he snaps again.

I'm proud of this character, for his armor I tried to make it look as Russian as possible when designing it, originally he was going to have eppulates, a eppulate chord, shash, and a couple medals, this would be bare a stronger resemblance to Tsar Nicholas (Which is ironic because I hated his guts xD), but scrapped because I felt it was to much and just went with a cape. :3

I was going to make a small rant about Alicorn characters, but Goddess of BUTTSECKS basically covered everything I was going to say. o3o
