Sturdy and reliable laser rifle, designed by Anatoly Evgenyevich Tikhomirov and adopted by the Soviet Army in 2069. A bit heavy, but poweful and can still shoot even after being dragged through mud. It was planned, that such rifles (laser ones) would eventually replace common firearms as MFCs become more abundant. These hopes were not to come true due to nuclear holocaust of 2077.
The rilfe is based upon powerful pulsed infrared semi-conductor laser emitter and it's capacitators have capability of firing in short bursts of laser fire.
