To differentiate her from the Animated Strika, how about naming her Shaula (which is a star in Scorpio)?

If that doesn't work, name her Lesathia (after Lesath, the other star in the Scorpius constellation that makes the "stinger").

Don't like it. Looks very generic: Curvy, claws, scorpion tail...What made her so unique is that she ISN'T your stereotype/clichΓ©d femme character, which is why I'm so glad that Animated kept true to her roots.
Very nice use of colors though!

It's not supposed to be any version of BM Strika, the character just shares the same name as her since I was stuck without a name for the character.
That shouldn't be surprising to you since plenty of Transformers share the same name throughout the franchise.
Besides, when you're basing characters off creatures from Mata Nui, it's kinda hard to picture how a scorpion-based Transformer would become a bulky fembot rather than something that's sleek, curvy, or organic-looking.

Hehe, that's true. Thanks for clarifying that.

unfortunatly, the real animated strika ain't that cool. i guess they were trying to show that girls can't all be feminine

Yeah, but at least she's dead on to her BM counterpart.
