Description
Left to Right: Original US release of Classics Hot Rod/Rodimus for my FP Protector armor (goodbye crappy BiS Hot Rod!), TFP RiD Cliffjumper, TFP RiD Arcee, TFP RiD Soundwave, TFP RiD Wheeljack (FANTASTIC figure!), Henkei United Megatron, and the original US release of Classics Megatron. Thanks to the lovely Deludedcon ( ) for selling me her Classics Hot Rod and Megatron. I hope she's doing alright during her tough times =/
I don't understand why people always just randomly take pictures of things they have and post them on dA... this isn't PhotoBucket!
However, I figured I might as well post my "recent" purchases (things I've acquired over the past few weeks).
Most of the more pricey stuff was my way of coping with a... person... for a brief high... haha...
Sorry for the graininess... you'd think the new iPhone would have better resolution lol

Ah, you should've gone after the first edition stuff then. It's really hard to find a First Edition Optimus or Bulkhead now.

Nice, why both versions though?
And did you do the mod where you remove that triangular chunk of plastic sitting behind his head so that his balljointed neck can be used?

first, i didnt say both molds, just get one or another
second, i hate cutting too much plastic, so im working on an upgrade to fix jolts neck without the need of cutting anything
third, he is not that small, or bad looking, the occicial instructions or mode is a fail, so many transformers can and even need a different transformation to work (example, there are many tfs with undocumented features, or even some that transforms completely diferent than shown on the instructions"dont remember which ones right now" but some actually can be broken if fallow the instructions)
jolt is even bigger than rotf sideswioe and just a head smaller than rotf sideways(who is pretty tall) jolt correctly transformed is almost 7 inches tall(i said almost) but looses stability so i usually trnasform him in a way he is just 6.5 or so but being more stable
take a look at the photos i took(sorry the bad quality and the long comment XD)
and he is much more screen accurate than many people thinks

I remember some guy over at TFW made a custom Jolt figure that doesn't transform. He did an amazing job. It had all the details from the CGI model turnaronds that he studied and the scratches and weathering.
Removing the plastic wasn't hard. I don't own any tools for customizing other than GW paints and I was able to remove the triangle with model kit clippers that people get for stuff like Gundams. Then I used a file to smooth it down. Took only a few minutes.

its just because here in my country a single deluxe cost 3 times the us price so its not like we had much options
think, cutting a figure that costs 3 times the regular
and di tou see the pictures?

Hmmm... I've never seen anyone transform his feet that way for display. It looks alright, though it looks like he'd get knocked over easily due the curvature of the bottom of the feet.
I know a lot of people, including myself, like to mistransform his feet like this: [link]

i bought him just because people hated it, and inside knew that was possible to make something with the robot mode
but still wasnt sure, still fot him and after a dey toying with the figure, i loved it, this may be one of my favorite deluxes EVER
thats whyi started to make an upgrade set for him, sketches, drawings, meassures, and last i started to make him in sketchup, and when i was going exactly where i wanted, the program crashed, i lost almos everything and now i push people to buy it because of the drutrations
XD

He's pretty neat. He has his faults and is one of the weaker figures from the DotM line, which was the best toyline in the trilogy, in my opinion.
I prefer him over the DotM one. That thing just looked horrid.

i have 2 rotf jolts(one packed) and one dotm and actually the dotm is one of the best deluxes, at least the way i transform him XD
sadly i dont have photos, he is still under the rotf and other deluxes in my favorite rank but is not as bas as people says
i still wanna have enough money to buy the takara version, i really want the card XD
