Description
Im really pleased with how this page turned out, there wasnt as much shuffling n cutting bits out as with others. also ive just realised that the Chaos Land Raider page was about the halfway point of this stuff, so its only a few entries left (and a bucket of special characters and extra bits). The Marks of Chaos are expensive for this guy because they give more than just +1 to a stat. Go see the Army Rules for more. Im not givng you a link, youre a big boy now and you can go along the internet by yourself.

Good to see they're an HQ choice rather than Heavy Support. It makes more sense. I never saw them as just heavy, monstrous grunts that could tear through tanks. Not that they're not very good at tearing through tanks... 5 S10 melee attacks on the charge would kill most tanks pretty dead.

Praise for daemonic Carapace! It angers me so much that a Daemon Prince (a champion of the gods gifted with daemonic essence) has the same armor save a space marine has>. I mean C'mon! He has reached daemonhood, something no ordinary mortal can achieve, and he can be easily killed by spamming regular bolter shots D:. My only concern, though, is his pointcost. 175 pts for him is a bit costy, compared to the 110 of the codex (and the major differences are that he has +1 on his WS and a -1 on his S). Also, why not fearless? I know fearless rules are kinda crappy nowadays, but I really don't think a Daemon Prince would run away from a battle

I think i muddled the points costs with the greater daemon somewhat, the DP is supposed to be about 120pts. my bad
The Daemonic rule he's got is a catchall rule, which is basically shorthand for Fearless, Eternal Warrior and 5+ invun

Lol ah yes, I didn't see the daemon rule over there lol ^_^;, its just that I was thinking Chaos space marine rather than Daemon army . The current chaos marine codex puts the dp at 110 pts, but I don't mind 10 pts more

Is becoming a sorcerer overwrites it being a Monster, or not?

psykers arent their own seperate unit type, theyre just a seperate set of rules that can be applied to a guy to let him use psychic powers
