That was gonna happen in Ebirah: Horror of the Deep, but it was scratch, because they replaced Kong for Godzilla.
The team up won't work well, cause Kong is more of a dick to Mothra.

Even how Godzilla vs the Sea Monster is one of my least favourite Godzilla movies. I am glad they replaced Kong with Godzilla!

Actually I did looked it up the last time, Kong after fighting Ebirah would have a fight against Mothra for a few seconds and Mothra won the fight. That was in the original script, if they would kept that, the film wouldβve been better, Godzilla in it makes it worse, when it comes to bad writing, awful characters, dumb music, worst fighting sequences, and terrible plot line.

I donβt think that works at all bro. Mothra and Godzilla have been allies for a long time and she wouldnβt do that. Iβm sure in GVK, Godzilla moved all the Titans including the traitor Rodan to Skull Island. Iβm certain Godzilla moves himself to Infant Island after the destruction of his home (the Hollow Earth). Him and Mothra are the king and queen of all monsters.

Godzilla vs. Kong is an american film by Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures. However, in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the only thing that the 2014 design changed for that new movie, is his dorsal spines (they're way bigger), and he's a little thinner.
