***FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!**My friend and I got in an argument if Anakin is still hott when he's burnt to a crisp and if I would still love him, I said I would because he'd still be Hayden inside and still be a beast, so I tryed to make Darth Vader looking a little bit more human even though he's obviously mechanical and a monster now, I wonder what he's dreaming, of Padme? Of Palpatine? Of Obi-Wan? of a kitten? Partly though I thought it would just be funny to see Anakin sleeping all burnt up. >:] And I didn't want to do a cliche art piece like lots of SW art is getting these days.

Yeah, when that realisation hit him that he had caused it. I think you see glimpses of it when he kicks the Emperor's ass for Luke in Return of the Jedi as well. He's such a beautifully complex character and this piece is amazing in illustrating that complexity. I really love it!!

Well... he had his right arm chopped off by Dooku when he was nineteen, then Obi chopped the other one off (together with the legs) three years later. So all his limbs are artificial.

Interesting concept, although somehow I don't think he took to suit off, even for sleeping. It was tied to his survival right?

yeah that must just be a drawing error. Well... logically yes it got burned off since he was laying in a bed of lava coals.. but for the sake of me loving anakin so much I'm going to say that it's still intact, just a little wounded at the moment.

Its pretty interesting the way u want to show the people that vader is still human, but i think that because the dark side the only thing he thinks is hate . But it is a really good pic

Well... this is definitely original!
I actually really like this piece. However, since you asked for criticism, these are the two things I would change/add:
The glove on the ground doesn't seem to match the rest of the picture. It seems a bit too cartoon-y.
I would also add in a few more pieces of Vader's suit - especially a torso/chest piece, because it seems kind of bare down there without some of the bigger pieces.
Anyway, seriously - this is a nice piece of art.

I love the idea behind it...but my only problem...wouldn't he be like, healed? But badly scared?
Unless this is Ani like right after and all...and I would imagine him being in bandages...plus, how is he breathing? I think if you added a oxygen mask (or something similar) to it it would make more sense.
Now...to the style. I love how you drew him with the lines and stuff (sounds lame...but I think you know what I mean...ha ha)

oh, also did what makes darth a man get burnt up too on mustafar, if you get my meaning! If so, no wonder he's so angry all the time, on top of the other reasons. again a great drawing which inspired many thoughts about our favorite sith lord.

That's pretty cool! it also makes you think about what I've thought of before and that is what does darth do in his private quarters on his own time? surely he sheds all of that armor and robes for cleaning at least. being in that hot suit has to make his sweat quite a bit, and smell too. also, does he clean himself, or do droids? I'm guessing his bed is in a hyperbaric room like his meditation chamber. but surely "Annie" has jammies to sleep in? nah, they probably would stick to his burnt skin and be even more painful. Just some thoughts about Darth. Pretty cool drawing!

Nice drawing. I don't mean to sound like a nerd or something, but how can he even remain alive without his suit? After the showdown on Mustafar, Anakin lost his ability to breathe on his own.
