***FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!**My friend and I got in an argument if Anakin is still hott when he's burnt to a crisp and if I would still love him, I said I would because he'd still be Hayden inside and still be a beast, so I tryed to make Darth Vader looking a little bit more human even though he's obviously mechanical and a monster now, I wonder what he's dreaming, of Padme? Of Palpatine? Of Obi-Wan? of a kitten? Partly though I thought it would just be funny to see Anakin sleeping all burnt up. >:] And I didn't want to do a cliche art piece like lots of SW art is getting these days.

Interesting, though when he takes off the mask his skin is white-grey, and i believe the artificial limbs should be less human, more artificial looking.
Plus, the artificial parts of the arms should be different, when Obi Wan mutilates him the arm is cut shorted than when Dooku does.

Hmm those are very good points. My original thought was that he's been recently burned and not had very much of the plastic surgery and such done so his skin is still crispy. But thinking about it for a while I realized that this is very inaccurate.

Vader needs love. Sure he made bad choices and was but burnt to a crisp but that
dont give people a reason to hate him. Vader is one of the greatest characters
in Star Wars.

Well it's not quite correct. Being that his lungs were scorched, he can't breathe and as to have the respirator unit on him at all times, the weird thing that connects to the mask part. Plus some other internal shit or something, so basically he permanently lives in the suit. But interesting theory on his looks without all of it. Kinda creepy honestly.

I thought about that when i was drawing it, I decided against drwaing the respirator though, i was more interested in the impossible concept of him just being a big piece of burnt flesh.

I would love to have artificial limbs like the kind you see in sci-fi movies. It would be even cooler if they came with various attachments--egg beaters, bread dough kneader, 5-speed drill, etc.

That book was indeed fudged. Besides, Annie looks a bit to femenine in this picture. Fix it up! In ROTJ vader didn't look so...skinned. Put some rips on his head and that axe-wound looking thing on his scalp.

what book? this wasn't based on a novel, it was just a random drawing (and deffinitly unrealistic drawing) of Anakin a couple months after ROTS, he isn't nearly gone through the healing process that he's obviously had by the time of ROTJ. You are right! i can't believe I forgot the axe wound-thing!!
I did this last summer, if i did one like it recently then it would be a lot more acurate, but this is a practice thing of the past and I think i'll leave it be.
Hayden christensen is quite boyish, dunno about feminine. I had a live model for the body at the time I did it so I'm pretty sure things are proportioned decently, he's just not as buff yet. Well, now that I look at it more, that's true, he probably does need to be a bit more beefy.
