***FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!**My friend and I got in an argument if Anakin is still hott when he's burnt to a crisp and if I would still love him, I said I would because he'd still be Hayden inside and still be a beast, so I tryed to make Darth Vader looking a little bit more human even though he's obviously mechanical and a monster now, I wonder what he's dreaming, of Padme? Of Palpatine? Of Obi-Wan? of a kitten? Partly though I thought it would just be funny to see Anakin sleeping all burnt up. >:] And I didn't want to do a cliche art piece like lots of SW art is getting these days.

i started that book, i've only got to the 2nd chapter though, then i got distracted by the New Jedi Order series. Yeah, i remember he just kept bitching about the suit

Well, according to one of the books, he lives in a pressurized chamber, so he doesn't have to work hard to breathe.

I really like the contrast in this, and Anakin/Vader looks so peaceful. I would imagine his thoughts would turn to Padme from time to time, but ultimately be consumed by darkness, he seemed so bitter towards the end of EP3 after all.

She's his subconcious torment maybe, he is completely consumed by hatred, but then she creeps into his mind and fills him with even more self loathing.

I have the perfect picture for you to color--I sketched a pic of Anakin daydreaming the other day and thought--'hmm spacecraft would like this one' I think you would have a blast coloring it! I really want to do more EU pics! I'm only about to start Dark Tide II, which is the 3rd book, so I haven't been introduced to quite a few characters yet. 
A Padme/anakin one sounds nice...it makes me all whistful. I promise that the next thing I draw I will make it so you can color it

Well, as I understand it, he pretty much spent the whole 20+ years between ROTS and ROTJ in the suit, except for the times it needed to be repaired - then, it was back to ye olde operating table. The suit is, after all, his life-support; hard-wired into him and whatnot.
But that's nazi-canon. XD
Despite my internal wincing (due to my belief that his skin is still uber-sensitive as a result of the burns, and even silk would make him go OW), I think it's very cute. XD Especially the way he's holding the pillow. Not sure if his skin would be that hue of red - reminds me of Darth Maul. But overall, nice pic.

lol, true the color and life system I mean. You can see I added little tubes from a mechanical thing standing by the bed going maybe into his back. As I was drawind I thought of giving him a big ole life support system on his chest and little tubes in his nose and mouth, but since it's an interpretation and that isn't what the picture is exactly trying to convey, I left it out.
Lol, It's all scabs! The color is also a bit of a stylistic thing >_< hope people don't kill me! I really don't know what the burn would be like! Probably much less red, but ah well!

I was thinking of having him dreaming of Padme or Sidious or someone, but I couldn't figure out how to do it nicely. I didn't want it to look citchy (I think I just made up that word, hopefully not). I looked for a good still or pic of Padme for the longest time I just couldn't find the *perfect* one. If you think you know of one that would be perfect send it to me!
I don't think I need to put in a dream or spirit of Padme though, the way it is now focuses more on Darth Vader and people can use their own imagination.
