SPOILER WARNING (some Rise of the Guardians spoilers)

So I went to see Rise of the Guardians the other day and I loved the idea in this film of a world teeming with these folklore characters, all being watched over by the Man in the Moon. So I had a go at coming up with my own character from this world. I guess you could call this a very sparse fan-fiction.

This is Green April. Like Jack Frost she lost her life protecting another and for this good deed, she was saved by the Man in the Moon to become a protector spirit of the forest. The difference being that this happened to her only hours ago, instead of centuries and this is the first she’s seen of the new her.

April is very heavily based on the British folklore of Green George.
