Let's see... First off, I like how the style was drawn. Though I'm more in the anime style of drawing, the fact that you caught my interests means it's that good. Considering with the theme, you visually expressed on what was the theme from the most obvious one to the littlest of details. Good thing you paid attention to what kind of background to use and other details that needed attention. Also, the depth perception really suggests that it is a big city and all and fits real well with the character. Overall, This is a good work and you could actually use this work in getting a job as an artist, especially those in the multimedia and gaming industry.

Well Done:
First of all, I like the jacket, it's one of the things that stand out to me from the detail put in. A lot of detail in fact has gone through this, from the trippy logos to the graffiti on the wall. The lighting is also executed and done neatly, which I can't stop staring at (I'm more of a 2D guy as you can see with my art.)
Needs Improvement:
There seems to be some effort put into the buildings however they tend to fall into the crudely drawn portion of the art and have the least amount of lighting or shadows. I would recommend blurring the background or spending more time adjusting the edges (skyscrapers, buildings can become tedious sometimes). Besides a few more blending here and there and practicing or adjusting the hand position to make it less bony or weird, it's pretty good.

What I first noticed was the green reflections of the glowing code on her hair, skin and coat. In my opinion this is really well executed. It's not too much light but also not too little. It's just right. However, things in AR can neither illuminate nor throw shadows on the physical world. Sorry, I had to say that, just my fetish with physics and stuff that protests a little here e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="22" height="25" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="313" title="Ashamed"/> Don't worry, I don't mind that you ignored that. In fact, I really like all the green reflections on her and her clothes. They look really good
e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title="

Your overall choice of colours looks well thought-out. The red of her hair appears again in the star on her shoulder and in the background whereas the red of her shirt is darker, but it's still red. You distributed the green very well in her eyes, her collar and the logo on her shirt. It matches the red and you create a nice balance between those two colours.
As a third colour you use different shades of grey with black and white. They provide a neutral environment in which the green and red really glow. I like that idea. Also the dark background with the big buildings creates a lot of Shadowrun atmosphere. It feels like she is out there on the streets in a rather dimly lit area.
Did you use a brush for the code? It's all ones and zeros, right?
Why not include little commands such as fork while fork e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Thank you for the nice critique. I used a brush for the binary, link is included in the description now. I chose binary and not a complex code, because I think Technomancers can manipulate the Matrix on the deepest level, which would be binary. Also I think Technomancers are an interface between the physical realm and the Matrix, so they can make the Matrix glow into the real world

You are most welcome. It's a nice painting so I thought: hey, why not write a critique?
Oh cool. I looked at the link. Maybe I want to use it one day, who knows? I don't know much about digital painting, though. So I won't use it soon.
Yep, the lowest level, the machine code, is indeed binary. But I wouldn't bother to look at that because you can't really understand it. But maybe Technomancers do? I can ask my TM-characters what they think about it
Yep, technomancers constitute an interface between the matrix and the physical world, but so does a normal commlink. And no, they cannot make anything virtual come into the physical world, not even light. Technomancers can't turn virtual light into physical photons which can be seen in the meat world. It would be like creating mass and energy out of thin air, err well, turning virtual information into it. Not working, either
And even if they could, they don't want to do it. I mean, imagine a TM in a public place using AR and suddenly his face glows whatever colour the website he's looking at. Too prominent. If this was true, people would look out for these effects. So everyone seeing someone glowing in colours different from the surrounding light would go "Technomancer!".
And the next guy the TM faces is a police officer: "So you're a techno, eh? Are you registered? Show me your SIN! Not registered, no. Hm, Come with me. What shall we do about this after you got registered? You can chose between paing X amount of money, or go to jail for like two weeks. Oh, and yu won't have any matrix in jail, so I strongly suggest you pay instead."
Ahm yap, an ability technomancers wouldn't use, if they were capable of doing it.
But as I said in my critique: Never mind because I like the effect of the green light. Very nice idea and well done
Sorry, if this gets on your nerves, but I always get myself into such discussions and then I can't stop

When it comes to art, I'd like to put style & appearance over in-game realism and compliance of game rules

Yes, I can understand that. Style and appearance are important for great pictures. As I said above: I really like the effect of the green light. It is well done
I just had to point this out, it's some sort of fetish of mine But just forget it, if you want to make more great pictures like this one

the shadings on the hair and clothes are perfect and the lighting effects, the green light reflections from the codes is flawless
I love the colors palette perfect matching
the amount of details are also impressive and breathtaking
the dark BG and the multitude of light gives a clear impression of night
the title fits very well the theme of the artwork and gives a digital feeling similar to anime Ghost in the shell: Stand alone complex

This is really awesome! and I love how her name is Tetris. That's the best. I love the lighting, colors and all around composition of this piece, her clothing and hair are very well done. The only thing I noticed is the positioning of her arm in relation to her body's position is just a little teeny bit off. Maybe exaggerate her position a little more or bring her chest and shoulders just a little more towards her hand, that might make it a little more natural. Other that that, this is awesome. I love all of the little details, The pattern on her shirt, the logo in the background, all of the buckles on her jacket. Overall, you did a really good job and I really like this piece. You're an amazing artist! I'm with ProjectComment

I'm late on this one, but I like her look. Sort of retro, yet modern. Reminds me of a movie from the 80's like Bladerunner with a hint of The Matrix. Once again I'm digging the hair!

How I envision a Sourcerer perceives the matrix, by the unfiltered source code itself.
I really like the reversed colors of her shirt. I think it looks better this way.

I do. It lends a sense of warmth to the otherwise cool colors of the image, and helps her stand out just a little more.
I also recall something a friend called "three points of reference," referring to three points that the eye will naturally be drawn to. Using the green for the 'T' on her shirt helps draw the eye tighter there, along with to her eyes and the floating binary code to the left. I think that if her shirt were green and the 'T' were red, this would disrupt that flow of appeal you have now.
