How does Tru'nembra work after the events of R'lyeh?

Eldritch Infection

Typically speaking, Shoggoths are common creatures in the Mythos that Lovecraft, scavenger and dragon, wrote of. The foul amoeba-like slimes are amorphous and thus have no definitive shape, able to mold their bodies at will to create limbs, appendages, organs and much more in a whim. It is hypothesized that Shoggoths have some kind of mind-tampering abilities by hijacking the brain and settling in, controlling the host body like a puppet; as the Silkwing student Moth was 'possessed' by a Shoggoth I released on accident, this seems to be true.

Sealing the gate between R'lyeh and our world required a flesh sacrifice in which I have my left arm for. During this, I believe that a Shoggoth attempted to possess myself but instead 'merged' with my being, using my wounds as an open outlet to spill out. Over time, this Shoggoth 'curse' has been replacing my innards with it's own, changing my blood to it's iridescent, black slime, and consuming my organs only to, again, replace them with it's own. I am unsure of the percentage I am to it and it is to me, but I know both it and I are just as easy to slay as a regular dragon.

Eldritch Abilities

This symbiotic relationship is rather terrible however that isn't to say it is not interesting. I have found that I have almost complete control over the Shoggoth's parts on the exterior of my body. My left 'arm' looks melted and wet when not in use, yet I can change it's size, length and shape into a melting leg, multiple tentacles, and one large one .

My weaker scales around my neck have a habit of sprouting more slick tendrils than I am aware of. These tendrils move like idle worms and often wriggle while I am not paying attention. They can extend and sprout more but typically there are 4 long growths that protrude from my neck at casual times.

When I speak my words are slurred by the Shoggoth's sludge as it spills up from the shard of Tru'nembra I have in place of a voicebox. I have,

Sleep Pits

I find myself compelled to dig holes in the earth and fill them with my ever expanding supply of black goo. The 'pits' are similar to a foxes den- an entrance and a main chamber. Once I leave the ooze comes with me, leaving a decently large hole in the ground but nothing too noticeable.

Wendigo Psychosis

Should my curse had been to share my existence with a parasitic Shoggoth then maybe I could bare it, however the paranoia I gained as a side effect for seeing such horrible things has made it hell.

Should I smell blood I will search for it yet am able to resist the urge if I put enough effort into doing so.

If I am met with an injured dragon or a corpse (no matter how old) I will gorge myself (or try to) until full. Injured dragons, I act more like a persistent mosquito.

I can go five days without feasting on dragon meat- the longer I go without it the worse my mental state gets.

When I have gone for a day without eating the specific meat, while I am still in control, my senses are heightened.

If I am deprived of the meat I desire yet am snapped to my senses by either the Shoggoth or my own broken mind, I get stuck in a strange feral state. I am aware of my surroundings and what I am doing but my mind gets numbed down to that of a badly tamed wolf. If I subdue my cravings I leave this state.
