So you work reductively with shadow? I've never thought to do that with digital art, but its a great idea. Don't know why I havent thought of that before, a lot of traditional work uses that technique (like with charcoal). Makes total sense!

wow, I do my shading the hard way! I make a new layer, bring opacity to 50%, and then use black to color in parts that need shading. Then go back and blur/smooth it all out! I'll have to try this method for sure!
