This is an awesome tutorial ^^! Love how you inluded the different crop and ear styles!
And I have one thing x3 and do not take this in any wrong way, as I do not intend to go against what you said in this tutorial. I'm just sure you should've put APBT, instead of saying this is a tall and skinny version. Many 'pitbulls' that are labeled APBTs are usually very well conditioned, maintaining a regular height and weight. Usually 'stocky' looking 'pitbulls' should be called American Bullies. I'm just saying as a Bully kennel owner for 6 years. We would ertainly have APBTs that were considered 'shorter' than the average height of the APBT, but if they come out stockier, they shouldn't be considered a APBT, unless it's just a house pet ^^!
But awesome tutorial, love that pic of the Am. Staff aswell ^^!

Thank you!
Oh, yes I see what you are saying. I should have put conditioned instead of tall/skinny! My pit bull, the black and white one on the page, is what I would consider shorter and stockier! And I know he isn't an American Bully! They are super short and super stocky! But still adorable

Thank you so much for making this! All I can find when I type in "canine" tutorial or "dog" tutorial are wolf drawing tuts. ;^; Wolves are fine and dandy, but pits are MUCH better! >

-Whistles- Those game-bred dogs sure do get conditioned. Glad to see you included American Bullies! A lot of hate is directed towards all pit/bully breeds, even inter-hatred, which needs to stop. If we want to destroy breed-specific legislation we must all work together regardless of our dogs!
Anyways, brilliant tutorial. It provides in-depth information and including the different ear crops, etc. just topped it all off for me. Great job and I do plan on using it in the future. Also to all the people saying, "those aren't American Pit Bull Terriers": pit bull is a term used to describe multiple breeds which share similar characteristics with one another. I know pit bulls to be one of the most diverse dog breeds out there. So many different sizes, colors, etc.

Yup, American Bullies are just as "pit bull" as the others to me!
Thank you so much!

It's a common myth that they're all lazy. Some are truly athletic; Lock-n-Load, Beastro, etc. from The Bully Market are good examples. Dax is just... Bleh.
No problem! <3
