I'd say it's better with pupils, even though you're better off making a poll about it and get a "global" opinion lol.
On a strictly personal note: maybe without the cheekbone lines, Serana's face would be better (same for Valerica's), but then it would lack that bit of realism, right?
Well, I had Alternate Start installed also for the reason of having Dragons and the Main Quest pop up much later, when I'd have more experience and money (which means bandit hunting in the meantime). And because of another mod (Deadly Dragons, if I remember correctly), even one lonely Dragon is pretty hard on my Healing Potions...and my pockets, that is. So yeah, that's pretty far indeed

Anyway, that was only my stupid opinion, don't take it as law(L). But now that you mention it, how about making the cheeckbone line with the same colour of the skin (just a bit darker) instead of black? You'd still have visible cheecks on their faces but without making it too evident. After all, no one has such visible cheecks in real life, unless they're skinny as faahk.
