Margot used to be such a nice and helpful Companion... She would promise to help anyone. But Skyrim is pretty big and with 9000 unfinished quests in her journal, frozen toes and her horse drooling and singing 24/7 she felt a little... lost. Started hearing voices, using her shield a bit too often, harassing NPCs, shouting nasty words at dragons...
She thought killing the annoying jester would help soothe her nerves...but Sheogorath won that day and the derpiness went official
