I literally have had no time at all these past weeks to make anything, but a show I have been following for months just decided to randomly turn my favorite character evil (for reasons that are not even very compelling) and it's not okay. There was no foreshadowing what-so-ever. It's just- "Oh, he's mad at Rapunzel now, so, like, he's turning evil now". Seriously? I want to slap these writers so bad.
At least it's an interesting twist. Now I'm just hoping they bring Mother Gothel into the story soon...

I disagree. Sure, Varian is known to be dangerous, and causes at lot of damage, but his heart was always unquestionably kind and compassionate and desiring nothing more than to please others. He's even gracious to Cass when she totally breaks off her side of the deal by choosing guard-duty over being his assistant.

Thanks! Working on this reminded me of how much I love traditional drawing. I still want to tinker around with and eventually become good at digital art, but traditional mediums are always going to be my favorite, I think.

Traditional art is definitely more comfortable, in my opinion. Sometimes it's nice to be able to go back and forth, though. XD
