At last, I finished my Sailor Fuku tutorial! My Sailor Moon costumes get the most questions by far, and I've been meaning to put together this tutorial foreverrrrr to answer everyone's questions ~ I hope it helps out a few aspiring senshi cosplayers out there <3!This is my first tutorial, but if it goes over well I might put together more so let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see from me!

Edit: I noticed the new PDF reader on DA is a little wonky ... I did update the fonts in the pdf so they look a little nicer than they did before, but this pdf looks best if you download it and read it in adobe reader/acrobat.

How deep should the collar cut be?

Ooops, a bit of a delayed response, sorry ;w; But the measurement from the bottom of the collar to the neckline is about 8". I should probably add that to the pdf but for now here's a quickie sketch >w<;; [link]

Hey there :3! I used CorelDraw to lay out this tutorial, mainly because it's a program I'm really used to since I use it at work all the time ~ but you could use pretty much any layout program and get similar results (illustrator, indesign, even photoshop). I'd just try to use something you're familiar with! I hope that helps <3

Seriously though, my first fuku took me forever to put together but now that I have the "formula" down I can pump one out in a couple evenings ~ not that I'm claiming this guide is completely fool proof (I'm sure some experimentation may be needed to fit different body types...?) but overall I hope it's pretty easy for people to follow :3!
