Would you like to have this keyboard in your backyard? Really? Even if you are a super-nerd? If it's a tourist attraction then ok, maybe it has some use.
What about it is creative? You just enlarge something, that you stumble upon in your everyday life and throw it in the landscape. Not very creative from my point of view.
If I don't get the deep meaning behind it, please tell me. Just for being funny this monument looks way too expensive, and that's what is making me feel ashamed - that we have money for stuff like that.

If you didn't even know the context it was created in then why did you criticize it? If you spent the five seconds it took you to type that first comment on a simple google search you would've found out it was a sculpture in a Russian city on the banks of a river and has now become a landmark and quite the tourist attraction. And it is creative because how often do you see stuff like that, sure you stumble upon a regular keyboard everyday but you don't come across a concrete keyboard thirty times the one you're typing on. The artist didn't copy this in any way which means it took creativity to come up with something like. Original art is always creative because it is new. I'm sorry if this seemed rude at all but I really dislike it when people don't considered things like this art. Sure there is art that I don't necessarily like but I at least respect it and the artist who created it because they tried something new and expressed themselves in a way they saw fit.

I did read the article and realize that SparkleStarCat only did the photograph of the sculpture. Maybe we should talk about the photograph, not the sculpture itself. And the question "is this art or not" doesn't belong here either. Sorry for bringing it up.

Photography is art, because even though the person is taking a picture of something and essentially replicating the object, the creativity is factored in when the photographer decides the angle, the lighting, how much they want to show. I used to think there wasn't much to photography but there really is a lot that needs to be considered and it really rather difficult to take a good above average picture.
