Description
Garfield Logan, a.k.a. Beast Boy/ChangelingGar back home in Africa.
I dont' see them very often, but when I see 'Africa Beast Boy' pictures, he's usually done up in some tribal finery. However, most men I've seen in pictures from Africa dress like this: button-down shirt, khakis, and sandals (I didn't draw the sandals, obviously).
I am taken with the idea of Gar returning to Africa at some point, so I drew him in common African fashion.

Thank you! Some great BB art with an appropriate take on his return to Africa. I always thought the same thing "Why is Gar wearing a Dashiki?"
Anyway, I just love your version of him. I will now fav it and rave about it for a while.

Yeah, when I see those, I'm like: has anybody ever seen a show on Africa? The men are all in button-down shirts, polo shirts, or suits.
I feel the same way when he's pictured out on the savannah. The old comics specified West Africa and placed him in the jungle.
In my own fanfiction, I place his origin in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaire) but that's nothing to do with canon.

Well, at the moment I've just got the 'It's Not Easy Bein' Green' on this site.
I'm toying with post-Titans Gar in bits and pieces, but nothing has actually been published yet.
So far it's gen, though there is one scene where Gar kisses a guy, but it's in jest.
I'm glad you liked Rats! It is kind of out there, isn't it? I have no idea what's going on with that; it's kind of 'The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents' meets 'The Rat of NIM' in space.

Yup. His parents were scientists working in West Africa and that's where Beast Boy was born and raised.
