Overall
Vision
Originality
Technique
Impact
That is one creative way to ask for critique. xD
The overall concept is almost genius, the rather blunt wording; asking the people to do something that sounds rather impolite and negative is really strong in expression and impact.
The font is easy to read and it's good that it all seems to be in the same size. Though it would have been better (optically) if you would have used only 2 different levels of.... thickness (?) for the lettering.
Also, the colour of the background isn't a very good contrast to the letters' colour, you maybe could change either colour to make the writing stand out a bit more.
Over and all this is a good concept, nicely executed.
I will definitely use this stamp. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

You got a point, I probably should have just used two font weights, the third font weight in place of the first, to bring it out more
Thanks

This stamp would be nice except one thing. "Tearing it apart", as you phrase it, doesn't really help. A good critique doesn't compliment, but does mention things the artist does right. Sometimes if that's not mentioned, and artist will be unsure of what to change, and will think they;re not doing anything right.

This is late but in my experience at some point you're even glad if some triggered idiot that thought offering critique= offering to praise them to the high heavens figuratively rips your stuff apart since that's the only thing you ever get that's not just "OMG, I wuv dis".

Actually, once a girl at school literally ripped one of my drawings on purpose, and it DIDN'T help me improve.

even though "tear it up" is in bold lettering, "critique" is the operative word here folks! love it!

Can't you critique your own work? Why or why not? (Just asking.)

I know this feeling all too well. Except I don't want my family to tell me what I'm doing wrong, because all they do is try and make me draw in THEIR style. So I try to have strangers on the interwebs do it, BUT NONE OF THEM SEEM TO SAY A SINGLE THING ABOUT THE ARTWORKS FLAWS.
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD IT ANNOYS ME TO BITS.
CAN SOMEONE JUST TELL ME ONE THING I DID WRONG THAT ISN'T ABSOLUTELY RETARDED LIKE "You made a small mark right there, next to the foot." or "You didn't draw this anatomically correct. It's wrong, and you need to fix it."

I want to use this in all of my further devaintations. But how do I include it in the description? Icons, I can do, but I am confused past any point beyond icons

Well, to the right of the critique is a thumb code, and you copy/paste that into your journal/ID to make the image or thumbnail come up. But you have to have a PM to make it come up in artist's comments

Lol, as would I. 'What if it doesn't work and I waste all my money but i can't do anything?' 'What if I do it wrong and it cancels my account?!'
I'd flip out!

This is great! People always compliment my work and I get bloody sick of it! I want to be critiqued so I can get better! My uncle is just about the only one who critiques me on my work.

*hi-five* This is awesome. I've seen a few users with "OMG DONT CRITIQUE MAH ART"!! stamps and it's like "Whaaaat? You only pointless kiss-ass comments?" When I show my art to my family they're blunt with me and that's the way I like it.
It's a great to be brave and that's exactly what this stamp is.

"Epic awesome picture I luv it" does nothing.
"Nice picture, but the right wing anatomy is very off, it needs to be bent less, and the legs look like jello! Remember bone structure!" does something.

LOVE it! And I TOTALLY agree with you. I can't give you critique on this stamp, because it is, to me, very clear and straightforward, and I don't see why such a thing would need to be more beautiful. Excellent job, IMO.

The best type of critique, don't you think? I want people be relentless with my art, I want to become a better artist!
Another great stamp, dude!
