Here's the colored version of my OYL Raven sketch. Just to avoid confusion, this is NOT animated series Raven. OYL stands for One Year Later which was one of the biggest events occured in DC Universe. So, the picture you see right now is the current version of comic Raven. If you've been following the comics, you may have noticed the changes that they have made to Raven's costume. It looks a lot like her AS costume. I didn't like it at first, but I started to accept it. 'Cause at the end, it's all about the character, not the costume.Also, I used this chance to experiment with my new coloring style. Since I can't ink like comic style, I simply used soft-shadow method for the shading. A good example of a comic artist who uses this method is *diablo2003 . And of course I couldn't get away with my "shiny" style.

Nice job on the shading! The colors look so great together, and I love the way you did her costume - it almost looks real, and it makes me like the costume more. You were also able to keep your signature shine. 
This is not a request, just a suggestion. It would be cool to see a matching Beast Boy piece as if they were looking at each other. But just a suggestion, it's up to you if you want to do it.

Not really. This is only my version of comic Raven. Her hair style is not like that actually. You can see her current look here -- [link]
The issue you've read with her bald is the one where she was reborn. Just like a newboard child, she didn't reborn with a long hair rightaway. She slow gained hair later up until she and Gar/BB shared their first kiss -- [link] , [link]
OYL (One Year Later), her hair is long... once again.

i am not really a big fan of one year later due to what they did with bb and rae but i like this

This is so pretty...but to make a suggestion, if your trying to copy Diablo's shading style, try using cel shading with lots of gradiating colors instead of using soft shading. Trust me...it works.
