Description
This is a modified image of a Federation Niagra-class fast cruiser. I did not make either of the pics from which it was put together. I named this ship the USS Halfmoon, after a town in New York. Figured that it fit with the class name.
I had this idea pop into my head to give her Sovereign-class warp nacelles. I am considering writing a Star Trek AU fanfic set a couple of years after the Dominion War ended in 2375.

My idea is that, with the loss of so many ships, the Federation is having trouble with criminals and pirates taking advantage of the chaos to attack colonies, outposts, and even ships of various galactic superpowers. Stretched thin trying to deal with all the problems, they commission a task force of refit starships, better armed and able to handle dangerous situations on their own, to deal with the rising crime rate.
