Bg practice time! 'Am I afraid of talking to her?' He asked himself, not noticing her call from the medicine cat den. 'I shouldn't have been so careless last time. Now she knows. Will everything be really awkward between us now? I ... should I talk to her about it? No. Better not mention it again, just act like it never happened.'
That was easier said than done, though. Mellowpaw had never been a great actor, and his face always betrayed exactly what he was thinking about. Also, he was off to a great start, it was totally normal to completely miss your mentors calls. Yeah ... totally. Mellowpaw was so occupied with his thoughts that he hadn't even noticed it.
Mellowpaw is having a hard time talking to his mentor after a slip-up that happened last time. His worries are not justified at all, but he's to blinded and unsure to see that. Ah, teenagers. Trapped in their own minds.
