So now I will begin a more coherent analysis. I'm so glad Mashima FINALLY decided to bring Crime Sorciere into the action!! AnD THE ORIGINAL TRIO AT THAT they are probably my favorite brot3 (after Gray, Lyon and Ul, of course), and I'm so glad that Merry got to see her mom again!!

I've honestly noticed a big change in both Meredy's and Gray's behavior though, even in what little we have seen of the former. She has come a long way since the overwhelming hopelessness she felt while watching Jellal be slaughtered by the Oracion Seis. And Gray, too, has been a lot more carefree lately, what with the return of his stripping habit and his teasing of other characters [hehe lucy], and I think that the changes noted in both of these characters can be attributed to the return of Ultear. Gray's overwhelming guilt has been appeased, at least in one factor, and Meredy has her mother back. While of course Jellal was probably an adorably protective father for her, Ultear was the one Merry grew up with, the one she looked to for advice, the one she would ultimately do anything for. Losing her on top of all of her family was too much. She matured considerably, and then Mashima brought back the person who made her most happy.

...heheh and now she has Lyon to make her happy too

But yeah! I'm just so happy to see her back!!!
