Ok. Ok....I didn't have a reference to look at when I was doing this. I put in all I could remember of the Yosh.Tried to give him a realistic look since the one in the movie looked nothing like him...

This is mstly what a realistic Yoshi should look like: cute, not gritty or muscular, but reptilian.

If I recall, Yoshi is some sort of amphibious Utahraptor. This is pretty much it except for the hands on a raptor don't go facing out that way.
But anatomical correctness isn't important, because he looks like a muppet in the game.

Nice job. love the rendering. Perhaps create the several other colors of Yoshi? I was partial to blue ones with wings. Also i noticed you said you didn't have a reference so i was curious if there were anyway to work in Yoshi's boots/sneakers? Doesn't make any since really to have them on the realistic character but i was curious what it would look like. Great job once again.

resembles closly the yoshi from super mario brothers the movie. though with the colors from the game instead which I like better enyway. very good job.
