Missing for nearly seven days without a trace, the massive manhunt launched to find Robert and Julie Weekes was starting to wrap up. The newlywed couple disappeared while hiking along a beginners trail of the Sierra Nevada in the middle of Summer, despite having constantly updated their whereabouts along the way via a honeymoon blog. No one suspected any relationship issues between the couple, and everyone interviewed suggested that they were madly in love. Furthermore, Robert was an experienced climber and explorer; making their complete disappearance even more puzzling to investigators. In fact, when park rangers first located their last known position, as indicated by Robert's GPS app, all they found was a pile of clothes, climbing equipment, and some rope. No human remains were recovered and there was no indication that anything untoward had occurred.

Upon regaining consciousness, both newlyweds remembered the blinding flash of light but neither could explain or remember how they ended up naked within their strange new room. It didn't take long for them to notice the neatly folded pile of clothes on the floor in front of them. They each eagerly secured their respective piles and selected one new outfit from the stack, donning it without further question or delay. This gave them time to fully assess their predicament. Their room was cramped, sterile, poorly lit, and appeared to be filled with contemporary household amenities. However, upon closer inspection, all of the furnishings seemed more like highly detailed stage props than actual furniture. The bed covers did not pull away and the pillows were all attached to each other and to the headboard itself. . . none of the lamps were connected to any power. . . and, most shockingly, Robert discovered that all of the books in the bookshelf were full of blank pages. Everything was artificial.

Just then, the lights of their room brightened from overhead, revealing that each of the main walls were actually made of clear glass.

Robert gasped with choked horror and began to tremble uncontrollably, a reaction which startled his poor wife who had not yet comprehended what lay beyond the glass. It wasn't until one of the enormous beings pressed her giant palm against the glass that Julie too felt a wave of fear wash over her. Trying not to collapse, Julie instinctively grabbed onto her husband's outstretched hand; transfixed and bewildered by the utter size of the women in front of her. Just then, Robert made the mistake of looking up and made eye-contact with one of the god-like creatures; her unflinching but detached expression making him feel like a bug being observed under a magnifying glass.

In truth, Robert and Julie had been abducted by a flying saucer on the night they disappeared. What had been nearly a week for the couple's loved ones back on Earth had only been around 24 hours for Robert and Julie; an affect of the time dilation onboard the spacecraft as it rapidly zipped outside of the solar system at 0.99 the speed of light. And though the couple didn't know it yet, they were now specimens belonging to a race of aliens far superior to humans; mere educational props for the students living aboard the saucer. Just one more example of several different alien species, each displayed in pairs within the hundreds of identically sized habitats onboard.
