agreement with Russia in the 1990s, some types of arms (svt40,TTC,SKS) were banned from import. There is really no clear reason why.

my apologies.. really sad when generations fight for freedom just to have them stripped away. Don't worry i have 5 Commonwealth firearms and they are in good hands.

Sadly, the only high power weapons allowed in Ireland are ones with their firing pins pulled out, which is sad.
