I think I finally got his costume finalized. Will be a while before I actually get started on the legit graphic novel, but expect some clips in the future. I decided to completely edit out a part of the plot because I found too many mistakes in it, and make it into something more intelligent. XDAnyway, this is Zerax, he's an ice dragon and one of two main characters in my (unborn) graphic novel, Dragonia. ^w^

I like his design, the asymmetry adds a nice touch to his look.

Thank you! When I was first coming up with his costume he looked more symmetrical, but I decided to make him look a little more interesting by getting ride of the other sleeve, but keeping the armored glove. This has partly to do with wanting to tie cultural meaning to the look of his clothes (black edges symbolize strength, thus symbolizing he is either a warrior, and asymmetrical patterns on his clothes symbolize royalty) as he is (was, before he was exiled xD) an important figure to the Ice Dragon Clan.
The opening on his left arm also allows for him to radiate ice magic from his skin, which in turn can be transformed into weapons.

I like the sheer amount of symbolism you used in creating this character, I also like to incorporate some symbolism in my designs so it doesn't seem so random. Anyway, can imagine him making weapons out of his arm ans that can make for an interesting fighting style.Β

Symbolism is so much fun to play around with, it adds so much depth and story to the character. Especially when you want to create a very, for lack of a better word, different outfit, but you want there to be logical reasons for how it looks.Β
I took a look at your character designs, and I have to say, you have come up with some very amazing outfits. I think every one of them would be a fun cosplay! I'm someone that's naturally drawn to the color blue, so I'd say my favorites are your princess design and Enolay Birch
