Of course we already see the two dividing 'factions' prominent in Vampire stories where one wants to hide in the Shadows like Orlock here whilst Dracula wants rule the world openly where humans are cattle.
I guess this is why Methuselahs who recently risen from Torpor (using VtM terminology here) who especially know nothing about the modern world around them are highly dangerous.
