Description
Okay, well, I'm really proud of this. I wanted to work on my digital painting skills, so I tried this realism of Barley from Erin Hunter's Warriors Series. I did have a reference photo, it was stored in one of my files form a long time ago, so, sadly I can't recall where it came from. But it was really helpful in doing this. I do not care if the eyes are the wrong color or not. I thought they looked nice being green/gold.I'm pretty happy with how this turned out - a big improvement from the last time I did a digital painting. And all those one-minute drawings must've paid off - this took me about 2 1/2 hours at most. Yeah that is fast to me
Any critiques are welcome.
EDIT: The little small hairs were an afterthought, since the cat in my reference photo had really pretty fur that was sticking out so you could see the individual hairs. But now I'm really glad I added them. They didn't show up so well on my desktop, but on the macbook I am seeing that they turned out alright, haha.
DOUBLE EDIT: Wow you guys. I'm on the front search page for pictures of Barley
