Yay! It's Sol.

I was browsing fanart for this guy, and there wasn't really a lot of pictures of him. Which is so messed up, since he's so awesome!! One of the more interesting villains of the Warriors series, it's nice to have someone who:
1. Isn't related to Tigerstar
2. Doesn't have a sickly bloodlust and a "Keel Keel" philosophy.
3. Is still deadly and cool.

Second only to Scourge, he has to be my favorite villain. I hope he makes another appearance. He's so slippery and conniving, although he hides it with his outward politeness. He's kewl. Erins description of him weirded me out. He's described to look like a lion, but also to be dark tortoiseshell. He is also drawn as a calico oriental kitty. Has anyone here ever seen a living, tortie and white lion? No. Not me.

As for the actual picture: I don't know what the background is, lol. I just wanted to make something icy looking to match his cool personality. But who cares, I think it turned out rather cool.

I don't care if his fur color is off. This is how I imagined him until Erin decided to confuse us all and eff up his description. Kay? Kay.

And just to throw this in here; did you know male calico cats are extremely rare, and nearly always sterile? This is because of a genetic mutation that allows the cat to have two full X chromosomes, where as a normal male only owns one. Females can be calico because they can carry two dominant colors - Red and Black, creating tortoiseshell, and with the white spotting gene, Calico. So, if you think about it, this law of nature has been broken several times throughout Erin's series. Redtail for instance is described as a tortoiseshell tom, and he actually has a daughter, Sandpaw, as my knowledge goes. There are other examples I'm sure, that aren't coming to mind right now. But how about that? Now ya know somethin' new most likely. At least, my mom didn't know
