Description
Been reading Dan Abnett's Warhammer 40,000 novels recently, most notably the Gaunt's Ghost's series. Just felt like sketching a little something in that vein."Men of Tanith! Do you want to live forever?"

Ah, yes. One cannot be a proper Commissar without the HAT. Hehe.

I'm working my way through the Saint at the moment. Dan Abnett is my hero.

Thank you. He's such an iconic figure of the 40k universe, and even thought its only a sketch I think I captured some of his character

I thought so too. Most people who draw him get his description all wrong and draw him as some heavy-jawed Commissar instead of the sharp-featured version you drew in keeping with the books description.

Thanks. I've noticed that and it does tend to annoy me a little. I tried to leave his sideburn light too, since his hair is described as blond in the stories and yet a lot of depictions make it darker.

I believe Dan Abnett said his hair was blonde, though his eyes are dark in color.
